Turn away my reproach which I fear...

...for thy judgments are good.

Verse "seven-tuhn", or 17 dtg -  or Base Thirty Two

Also known as "thirty nine", or 39 dec - or Base Ten

One finger up on my left hand, and thumb, index, and middle fingers curled in on my right hand.

Bless you!

Daniel

Sunday, October 22, 2017

Stablish thy word unto thy servant...

...who is devoted to thy fear.

Psalm 119:38 - Decimal, or Base Ten. In Duotrigesimal, or Base Thirty Two; that would be Psalm 3q:16 "dtg" ("Chapter thirtuh-quah, Verse sixtuhn").

For "thirtuh-quah", three fingers up on my left hand, and every digit on my right hand - except my right ring finger - curled in (or down).

For "sixtuhn", one finger up on my left hand, and my index and middle fingers curled in on my right hand.

Sincerely,

Daniel

Turn away mine eyes...

...from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

15 dtg (Base Thirty Two) "fif-tuhn" = decimal 32+5=37 "thirty seven".

Daniel

Friday, October 6, 2017

Incline my heart unto thy testimonies...

...and not to covetousness.

Index finger up on my left hand, and only my middle finger curled in on my right hand (and I use my right palm to hold it down).

Verse "14" - or "four-tuhn" in Base Thirty Two. In decimal, that would be 32+4= "36" - or "thirty six".

Sincerely,

Daniel Robbins

Make me to go in the path...

...of thy commandments, for therein do I delight.

On my left hand, my index finger is up; and on my right hand, I am doing the "perfecto" sign! In other words, the thumb and index finger are pulled in, and the rest of my fingers are up. The reason is that I am using a "hybrid" finger counting system - base thirty two on my right hand, combined with conventional finger counting on my left hand. And the verse number is "thirty-five", or "35" in "decimal, and "thirtuhn", or "13" in base thirty two. Clear as mud?

Sincerely,

Daniel Robbins

Give me understanding and I shall keep thy law,...

...yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

Alright, so: I am showing people how to count on their fingers, using "Binary Finger Counting." I just shared Psalm 119:34 (in Decimal, or Base Ten).

In Base Thirty Two, that is verse: "12 dtg" I call it "tuelve". Pronounced the same way as "twelve" - but DEFINITELY not the same! Verse "Twelve" is: "Blessed art thou, O Jehovah - teach me thy statutes."

Verse "TUELVE", on the other hand (or "12" in Base Thirty Two, which equals verse "Thirty Four" in Decimal) - again - is" "Give me understanding and I shall keep thy law: Yea I shall observe it with my whole heart."

On the left hand, I have... WAIT! I just realized I had made a mistake on the previous post. I will revise it.

On my left hand, I have the index finger UP. On my right hand, I have my index finger down. I will explain later.

Love,

Daniel

HE

Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes - and I shall keep it unto the end!

Index finger up on the left hand, and thumb down on the right hand. Again, I will explain later.

Sincerely,

Daniel

I will...

...(I just got up and ran a little bit here in the library)... run the way of thy commandments when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

Verse tuhn! 10 dtg! Let every digit go on your primary hand and pull your thumb in on your secondary hand (for me, that is my right hand). In decimal, or Base Ten, that is "thirty two".

Sincerely,

Daniel Robbins

Monday, August 14, 2017

I have stuck unto thy testimonies...

...O Jehovah - put me not to shame.

Verse z (or "zed") - or decimal thirty one.

Pull that thumb in and make a fist! All digits in on the right hand!

By the way, I need that verse right now.

Sincerely,

Daniel Robbins

Thursday, August 10, 2017

I have chosen the way of truth...

...thy judgements have I laid before me.

Verse y dtg (wye), or decimal "thirty".

I will call this the "Thumb Up" number, because all the fingers are in, and only the thumb is up (on my right hand).

Sincerely,

Daniel

Monday, July 10, 2017

Remove from me the way of lying...

...and grant me thy law graciously.

Verse x dtg "ex" (decimal "29", or "twenty nine")

"Point with your index finger" and you have got it! In other words, every digit is "in" except the index finger.

Daniel

Thursday, June 15, 2017

My soul melteth for heaviness;...

...quicken thou me according unto thy word.

Verse "w dtg", or "wooh"; which equals decimal twenty eight.

The little, ring, and middle fingers are now all down on my right hand, while the index finger and thumb are up!

Sincerely,

Daniel

Friday, May 19, 2017

Make me understand the way of thy precepts...

...so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

Now all we have to do is pull in our right thumb; and, of course, keep that middle finger down!

Verse: "vih" or "v" in Base Thirty Two

Love,

Daniel

Thursday, May 18, 2017

I have declared my ways...

...and thou heardest me - teach me thy statutes.

Verse "tih", or "t" in Base Thirty Two

Aright! With this one, we need to make sure we are not making any inappropriate gestures! Therefore, instead of sticking our middle finger up, we pull it down OVER TOP of the thumb muscle. So: the Thumb is up, and every finger other than the middle finger is pulled in and tucked IN BEHIND the thumb muscle and palm of our right hand. Again, the middle finger is down and OVER TOP of the thumb muscle. That way, it is distinct from the other digits, but also not sticking up and sending inappropriate messages. You can see a picture of what I mean here: Tih.

Love,

Daniel

DALETH

Pronounced: "Dah-let"

"My soul cleaveth unto the dust; quicken thou me according to thy word."

Verse "us", or "s dtg" (and dtg stands for duotrigesimal, or Base Thirty Two)

The same as "rah", but now the thumb is pulled in, helping to hold down the ring finger - so the middle and index fingers are sticking out. By the way, the decimal equivalent is "twenty five".

Sincerely,

Daniel

Friday, March 31, 2017

Thy statutes also are my delight,...

...and my counselors.

Verse "rah"! Or "r dtg".

The little and ring fingers in on the right hand, and - of course - we can ignore the left hand for now (and, again, I am assuming most of us are right handed when I say this).

Sincerely,

Daniel

Tuesday, February 7, 2017

Princes also did sit and speak against me...

...but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

Verse "quah", or "q dtg"

On the right hand, every digit should be in except for the the ring finger. (In other words, the ring finger should be the only finger sticking up).

Sincerely,

Daniel Robbins

Friday, January 27, 2017

Remove from me reproach and contempt,...

...for I have kept thy testimonies

Verse "pih", or "p dtg" - and the "dtg" stands for "duotrigesimal", or "Base Thirty Two".

Love,

Daniel - or "God is my Judge"

Monday, January 23, 2017

Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed...

...which do err from thy commandments.

Verse "in", or "n dtg". By the way, I named it "in", as opposed to the conventional name for that letter: "en", because "en" sounds similar to "em". Changing it to "in" helped to distinguish it from "em".

Finger configuration is the same as "em", except I pull in my right thumb over top of my right middle finger.

Sincerely,

Daniel

Wednesday, January 11, 2017

My soul breaketh...

...for the longing that it hath unto thy judgements at all times.

Verse "em"; or m dtg

So, only the right little finger remains down (by the way, I use my palm to hold it down); while the right thumb and index fingers are released. Then, I pull in my right middle finger, and curl it up against my right palm, to help hold it down as well.

Of course, in decimal, this is verse twenty, or sixteen (for the right little finger) plus four (for the right middle finger).

Sincerely,

Daniel

Monday, January 9, 2017

I am a stranger in the earth -

hide not thy commandments from me.

Verse "kih". Pull in the right thumb overtop of the already down index finger.

Sincerely,

Daniel
